Rattles

Back glass in the lift gate rattles loudly, literally moving up and down. It has been in shop 4 times, they hear it and see it, but can't figure out how to fix it. Had to file a claim with GMC. Very disappointed. Most of trim on inside is cheap plastic and poorly assembled. The ride is as good as the previous model. Turns and handles like a car, not a truck. - 5.0

Good but GM Quality issues hurt this thing

Bought brand new, 6 miles on it when I picked it up from the dealer. Overall interior impressions right away was this was nice, and that is still true today. However....when I was leaving the dealer, several things went wrong on a 6 mile vehicle. 1- my sales advisor was walking me through all the features and was demoing the sun shade on the pano roof...it went all the way back and got stuck. brand new car, sunshade broke. ok not a big deal, dealer tried to see if it was software related, nope, actuator broke needed to order. ok not a big deal. 2 - Pulling the suv to the front of the dealership getting ready to leave, air suspension malfunction, suv was stuck in its highest setting. would not got down at all. again dealer ran diagnostic, not software related, needed to really investigate. i didnt have time to deal with that, bought it out of state, needed to get home, dealer assured me it was fine to drive as is. (it was). local dealer dealt with that issue. 3 - leaving the dealer driving home, check engine light came on 30 miles into the drive home! called the dealer, they assumed it was related to the suspension but couldn't be sure. got home, had to schedule a full warranty repair on a vehicle with 6 miles on it...…literally bought it and had to take it back to the dealer. they kept it for 2 weeks issues were all eventually resolved, suspension was related to check engine light, a pin was loose in the wiring harness that caused both issues, and the sunroof was fixed after 2 bad actuators. GMs quality control was honestly really disappointing on a 85K suv. since the repairs though, 0 issues and it runs great. 24K miles later my only complaint now is gas mileage but that was totally expected.
